The World of Acrimancers
Corin has spent a decade in the remote provinces of Augrath training to join the Acrimancers. Sent away by a wealthy family close to the king–a family determined to distance themselves from the stain of Corin’s bastard birth–success as an Acrimancer is the only way to prove his worth to the kingdom and his family. At sixteen, the Pentara–five gruelling trials of acimancy–is his last chance to earn the Acrimancer title and the recognition he desires. But as evidence of a growing threat emerges, Corin must choose between his dreams, or a reckless quest to uncover the truth. His decisions will define his future and determine whether he has what it takes to be a true protector of the kingdom.

The novel (title TBC) is a coming-of-age story within a unique fantasy world, incorporating romance, perilous competitions, treacherous conspiracies, and a protagonist torn between a need to prove his worth, and doing what is right.
